Sailor Senshi Unite is in the process of getting a major makeover... After moving numerous times because the hosting servers had too many banners, hopefully this will be our last move... We have a lot of news! Wings Of Senshi received a brand new award - "The Award of Dedication." All of our awards are being updated to a better quality version. I fixed most of the graphics page as well as the links and the grocery store. We've also been working on our Sailor Moon collection website. We've got a bunch of new additions from Japan to add to our collection including a Sailor Moon and Venus Excellent figures (and they are huge) as well as a rare Suki Suki Kino Makoto doll. Medical school is sooooo hectic, there's barely enough time to eat! SSU has been down for revamping, but it's back up. We were trying to move to our own domain, but it won't be moved for a while due to technical difficulties. The fanart contest is officially over, and the entries are in the process of being judged. Winners will be announced by the end of the week. We're doing some renovations to the site, so be looking for new SSU goodies soon! 6/15/04 - Ami's Homework Help is up. The games still need to be done and the music, as well as the Layouts. We'll try to finish them as soon as possible. 5/24/04 - Okay, almost everything is fixed. The fanart contest entries are now up, too. Lita has to do her part and finish her image galleries, the downloadable layouts, games, and music. It will probably take her eternity, though, and I'll probably end up doing it... 5/20/04 - Stupid angelfire has caused our pages to look ugly! Now we have to fix everything...AGAIN!!!! If it's not one thing, it's another! We have a lot of new fanart entries, and we'll post them once we get the pages fixed which will take some time...*cries* This makes like the millionth time this has happened. 4/11/04 - Happy Easter everyone! Our mom got us some Easter baskets, but they haven't came in the mail yet. Guess what? We're adding some new features to Sailor Senshi Unite - a pen pal service, Ami's Homework Help, and a Java Script thing to where you can dress up the Sailor Senshi! School has been going good thus far; organic chemistry lab has been a blast. I had a substitute teacher in there, and he was yelling at everyone about making boats (which was very funny) when weighing chemicals. Also, someone caught my hood on fire in a previous lab session, causing a water pipe to break in the hood behind me...Plumbers were called in and they were all over the place. I tripped on one of them ^^;; Anyway, remember Jesus this holiday! Kiotsukete! 3/27/04 - Wow, it's been over a month since the last update! Well, the fanart section has been cleaned up. I've noticed at certain resolutions that the pictures and words are off centered than what they should be (800X600), and that some computers do not support the Broadway BT font. Also, I updated the contest page and added the Midi Mayhem since it disappeared. This will probably be the last update until Thanksgiving, so we wish everyone an early Happy Thanksgiving. We're thinking about adding on to the Japanese tutorial section by scanning our own Japanese homework and posting a link for downloading so you all can learn how to write some of the kanji that isn't mentioned in the tutoring session. I've been looking at some of my Japanese Sailor Moon dolls for translation purposes and a big part in trying to learn the Japanese language is trying to recognize some of the Kanji, not just the Hiragana and Katakana. Well, we've decided to add another contest as well as some Cheats and Codes to Sailor Senshi Unite (located in Fun Stuff). For the contest, there is an unknown midi located somewhere in the site (not the opening midi on the main page), and believe me, once you find it, you'll know. When you find it, fill out the form in the contest section where the midi is and you'll get an award. Okay, hm, well we've been working on the artwork site, too, along with the collection site. Ginga no Hoshi is going to have to be moved to geocities because of the banners, but SSU will stay where it is. That's about it. It's really hard trying to maintain three sites, but it's sooooo fun!!!! The inbox is overflowing with requests for groceries, so I guess I better send them. Kiotsukete! 9/13/03 - Hey, everyone! Guess what? Lita and I went to our martial arts class yesterday. This is the first class we've taken of Shao Lym Ryu and Si Lum Kung Fu. Okay...well, we go to the class, and everyone is wearing their uniforms and stuff, and we show up in jeans and shoes. The class had started about 2 weeks earlier, but the instructor let us join late. Anyway, the class began practicing the martial arts, and we didn't know what to do. We just watched everyone else and started doing what they were doing. Well, the instructor comes over to me and shows me how to do a certain kick, and I step on his feet (I was wearing shoes). The instructor then screams, "Owwww!" We were so sloppy the first day and not knowing anything...but it was sooo fun! We were doing our martial arts so straight (because we've taken different styles before) and the instructor says, "Are you all walking on a tight rope? Pretend you are walking on the railroad tracks!" We then watched some sparring from the older ranked martial artists. Our instructor is so funny, too. It was like being in a martial arts comedy. We have decided to take shaolin martial arts - taking it at our university means that we will be a black belt in 4 years! (Shaolin is the style Jet Li uses). *College Story* Rei and I were in our Chemistry class when this HUGE, and I mean HUGE piece of fuzz the size of an onion begins floating in the path of the sun's rays through a window in the auditorium. Well, the gigantic piece of fuzz floats past this one student's head and almost sticks. Rei and I almost DIE laughing...That place echoes you know...Right after that a girl behind me starts to snore, and there are around 300 people in the class. Well, her snores begin to echo, and everyone starts laughing. It was just so funny!!! We also downloaded some Celtic music to help inspire us in our artwork. There is nothing better than standing on top of the Himalayan Mountains, the fresh air, the sunsets, the Celtic music, and a paintbrush and canvas to get the creative juices flowing!!!!^_^;;;;; 1/18/03 - We added some more fanart, so look in the fanart section.
